JOHN CIPOLLINA DAY LILY

Inspired by the guitar playing of John Cipollina, a new species of Day Lily was created by botanists at Crintonic Gardens.

Crintonic Gardens - (Hanson, 01) M 31 SE

(DISRAELI X LOVE GODDESS) X ENCHANTED EMPRESS) X BRIDAL SUITE) X (OCEAN RAIN X SMOKE AND MIRRORS)

Celebrating the savvy virtuosity of the guitar slinger for Quicksilver Messenger Service, whose crisp chops and fluid reverberant chords remain anthemic over thirty years later (check out Happy Trails). JOHN CIPOLLINA is a very full formed and rather sumptuous 6" flower with deeply ruffled petals and fleshlike substance. The color is a most captivating blend of cashmere rose through lilac chiffon, with a deeper orchid halo surrounding the chartreuse throat. Vigorous plants with tall erect scapes which display three and four lateral branches. Among the most productive of parents this past season, JOHN CIPOLLINA is producing very finished flowers in alluring orchid and lavender shades.
