: I'm nearly 60 years old and remember listening to Quicksilver when I was a kid. I remember the Happy Trails album in 1969 or 70. I idolized John's ability to produce such clarity within a kalidiscope of sound. They were my favorite band for years.
Later on, I moved to the SF Bay Area and I got to see the Dinosaurs play a number of times in small venues. It was amazing,, so many of my musical heroes in one place.
I want to buy this 3 DVD set and play if for my 13 year old son,, I think he'd love it,,, John's music is timeless and it needs to be passed on to the coming generations. |
